1:56 pm	hmmmmmm.... I dont really have time to post much anymore... The weekend was fun. Went to Nerf War at Chris' which was awesome. Went to Vegas after, and then out with Josh for a while. Worked saturday and then hung out at tortos with Spanny and Jeff. Went out with Josh. Pretty crazy night. I almost got attacked by my tv. Josh spent the night. pretty sweet. Practice sunday with Cyntext. Then Gary came by. He is here for the week. Been pretty sweet having him here. Black Hand practice monday followed by triple p's. had acts AGAIN today. I dont really like this tests but it make the day go by faster for some reason. Show friday at the Rock and Rack. Everyone should come because it it going to be sweet (Comment on this)

7:11 pm	4/20/05 Been some time since I have written here... Last week sucked! There was nothing good about it until like friday night when I went to Rebecca's to hang out with her and Lindsay. We went to vegas which was fun too. Then I took Lindsay home and Rebecca and I ended up just driving around for a while after just talking which was nice. The show went well. I played like shit but it was fun. Did absolutely nothing sunday which was also fun. I got to play lots of DDR! This week has been much better so far. Work has been going by fast. It was pretty funny today...My boss had a pretty extensive back surgery last week so hes been gone. And he's on tons of meds. So he came in to visit today and like the first thing he says to me is "How you feel if you and I started selling drugs out of this place on the side?"...It seemed pretty obvious to me that he was just drugged up at the time but it was just funny coming to him, not to mention today. Now I dont know if he knows the significance of today(4/20) or if it was just coincidence but was funny either way. So today at work they were listening to 105.5 The Star..."playing hits of the 80's, 90's and today!)AKA:Lame soft rock station. And all of the sudden Finger 11 comes on! I probably laughed for a good 10 minutes straight. I was never a big fan of them but I think any street cred they had went right out the door with this one! And this is pretty much directed at one specific person-who happens to be asian and like Finger 11 a lot!-HAHAHAHAHAHA JEFF Anyways, The Black Hand has another show a week from friday and The Rock n Rack in round lake with Figaro and Until I Bleed Dry. 10:07 pm	Weekend The weekend was pretty fun for the most part Went to a show friday. Kinda sucked. Lame turn out and wasnt terrible impressed by any of the bands. Holy Roman Empire was good though. Woke up at the crack of dawn on saturday morning. Met Frank at vegas for breakfast and then was stuck in a classroom from 8a.m. until 1 p.m. taking my ACT. Went to work. Came home and took a much needed nap and then frank came to get me to go to a party. It was lame at first but ended up being a real good time. Saw a ton of people I havent seen/talked to in a while. It was a good time. had band practice today. Vegas with Josh and then a slue of various violent acts with my brother and sean. Good times. Show saturday. I can't wait. 8:44 pm	This week pretty much sucked Coming back to school was terrible I was extremely tired all week Work has been real hectic lately I have my ACT saturday and I have been all stressed out over that as well, not to mention I have hardly spent any time preparing for it And I'm pissed because I didnt get to see God Forbid last night And I pretty much hate everyone On the better side of things... Tomorrow is friday and the weekend Black Hand show next saturday Just got wind of one of the best tour line-ups I have ever heard-That consisting of Dream Theater, Fear Factory, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and more!!! All great bands although the only thing I really see there is DREAM THEATER!!! Tomorrow is Friday and I have no idea what im doing. ca't really stay out too late since I will be taking one of the most important tests of my life the next morning at 8 a.m.! 8:11 pm	Spring Break..... Spring Break was real good, I'm very sad to see it end and to have to go back to school. I hung out with josh a lot-which is pretty sweet. Band practices...sweet as well. New TBH and Cyntext songs Weather was awesome! Pretty nice to actually have "spring" weather on "spring break" Went to see Mudvayne...which was a good show a lot of Vegas DDR party at Gray's Rebecca and Lindsay came over Nerf War last night which was hella fun The Pope died.... anyways... defintely not looking forward to school tomorrow. 6:08 pm	Weekend Weekend was pretty sweet.... Went to Kenosha after school friday to get sticks. Came home. Show time. Show was alright. A little disappointed with the turn-out. Had to be the "nice-guy" and in the end got really pissed off about it. Next time I'm gonna stay a hard ass and not be so nice. Cyntext played alright. Not our best performance. My monitor mix was terrible but we did the best we could. Had the time of my life playing with TBH! We played WAY better then our last(first)show. Gary had some guitar problems but spanny was there to save the day. Went to vegas afterwords and then home for sleep. Worked the next day and then had a nice reunion with nick, ryan, dakota, and frank. Went to see The Ring 2. I thought it was a pretty good movie. Thought of it higher then most did. Long movie though. Something a little exciting and probably the highlight to the weekend... Cyntext was on 94.7 The Zone this morning!!!!!!!! Now, it was only "the local zone" and was on at like 6:30 in the morning but I'm extremely proud of myself and my band. I got some information from the zone's site and checked out what they look for in music sent to them from local bands. And according to them, they get LOTS of submissions which makes me feel good to know that out of the many bands that send in music, we got on the air. I guess its not a big deal, but after playing music for several years now, it feels good to get some recognition. Today was good, hung around the house, went to vegas, got some shoes, slept, and watched Dawsons Creek. I think today I realized for the first time ever how much I love being an older brother, or a brother in general for that matter. I have always said how much I would like an older sibling and still think it would be awesome(too late for that though), but I am just now honestly enjoying being the older brother to my 2 younger brothers. Its cool being close with matt and sharing a lot of the same experiences and its nice being into a lot of the same things. But even more so with nick. Its been such an amazing joy to see him grow up. It seems like just yesterday my mom brought him home from the hospital. I was sooooo mad he wasnt a girl(I didnt want another brother-hahah). It kinda makes me think twice about having children. I never wanted to, but I think I see things differently now. I seriously dont know what I would do without the 2 of them. I just hope I am making as much as an amazing impact on them as their older brother, as they have made on me as my younger brothers. 10:42 am	SLIPKNOT Well last night was the Slipknot show at the Allstate. Came home from school, ate and left. Picked up Spanny. We left pretty early because I assumed rush hour traffic on a Friday would have been worse bu it wasnt too bad, so we got there really early. We to Steak n Shake and then just sat in the parking lot for a good hour listening to music. Doors opened. Went inside. Found our seats and walked around for a while until the show started. Gizmachi opened. Never heard them before but they were pretty good. Got a free cd from them. Shadows Fall played next. I was really excited to see them, having never seen them before. They played great! It was a pretty short set but was good. Lamb Of God played shortly after. I think I enjoyed them more this time around. They played an amazing set and much to my surprise, a pretty lengthy one too. It was good. And last, of course, was Slipknot! Now I was very worried this show was going to suck and that I had some bad seats, but actually, I probably had one of the best views that I could of wanted, and probably one of the best views of Joey Jordison in the house, which we all know made my day! They played for a real long time and a much better set then expected. Several songs from all 3 major albums. It was amazing. And, joey played his solo,(high light of my life) complete with rotating drum riser. If anyone has seen the Disasterpieces DVD, you know what I'm talking about. It was one of the coolest things I have ever seen! Updates on the knot: Chris played with a broken foot. I could see "back stage" from where I was at. And I see Slipknot sprint their asses to the stage after their intro music cut, and im looking at them all and I know someone is missing, then I see chris hop up on stage with crutches. Apparently a few nights ago, he jumped off the very elaborate stage set-up and messed up his foot pretty badly. I dont know though, Sid was doing it all night and was fine, but chris managed to have as much fun as he possibly could on stage given the situation. Sid cut ALL his hair off!!! Craig probably actually did only ONE thing the entire set.(he is a waste of a member) Corey told a bunch of bands to "suck his mother-fucking nuts"-thought that was funny Joey is probably the most hyper person in the world. After the extremely exhausting set his just played that lasted over and hour and half long, he throws some sticks to the crowd, and the sprints as fast as he can off stage and literally runs out of the arena! Slipknot has some new "death masks" as they call them. This was the first time I have ever known them to do a mask change during a show. All and all....great show. Exceded my expectations by far! 8:19 pm	This is probably going to be long.... Wow-its been close to 2 weeks since I have written in this thing... Last week kinda sucked. I had no work all week which was cool but I was sick as hell. Stayed home wednesday which was nice. Back to school thursday. I was in a very good mood thursday....no work, and a 4 day weekend ahead of me! Everything was going great until after 3rd hour. i was informed by my english teacher that i had plagiarized something from my HUGE poem project. To read more about my scandalous actions, hit up the LJ Cut. Anyways, thursday night I went with spanny to get cases for the cds that are in finally! friday I hung out with josh most the day and then up to Milwaukee to get Jeff. Good times. Got some for free food courtesy of Marquette. Came back into town for the night. Worked saturday and then hung out with spanny and jeff at torto's. Fun times. Me:well what if meg and I just did it every now and then? Jeff Moy:Well that would probably be fine Its things like that, that make me love jeff moy. Anyways, practiced sunday and just hung out. On monday and tuesday I worked on my spanish project with the beautiful jenny neumann. We actually did a pretty good job. I finally started feeling half-way better this week. Work today was weird. The people I work with tried to hook me up with some girl that they knew and had her come in to "meet me"-thats was awkward. And now everyone there thinks im gay because they fail to see that girls and relationships takes a backseat to my busy life of school, work, and music. And then some strange lady came in and kept telling me how "pleasant" I am. If only she knew me when I wasnt being paid to be nice. Tomorrow=SLIPKNOT!!! Im excited although from what I can tell my tickets are not all that great. Im pissed because I got forced, more or less, into buying them. oh well. 8:18 pm	The weekend I had an absolutely amazing weekend!!! Friday I went to vegas after school with Lindsay. Came home and went to the show. The place was cool. Played basketball for about an hour upon arrival before touching a piece of my equipment. Set up and hung around for a while. Nina hooked me up with a sweet and much needed belt! Show started. Probably the best performance I have seen out of capacity. Cyntext played next. I thought we did a fine job. Everything was sounding good. Got a pretty good response. The Black Hand was next. I couldnt really be happier with our performance. I thought we played great and pat did a great considering he had practiced with us only twice. Got a few people who said they liked VICE better but the majority of the people enjoyed TBH more. Dead on and UIBD both put on good shows-however I was busying passing out while they were playing. Overall, great show. Went to vegas afterwords. Good times. Worked saturday. Went by fast. Then it was off to the show. Gary and I got there a little late and missed the first band. Saw Full Blown Chaos. They were pretty good. Didnt get into them much. Bury your Dead played next. They were amazing! Almost got a headstock to the face and bull-rushed the stage. WOJ played next. Way cooler then the first time I saw them. This was a lot more of an intimate setting then The Rave. Cant remember getting into a love band that much. Usually I go to shows to watch the band and for the musical aspect of it all but I had so much fun during their set! They played just about every song I wanted them too and closed with one of my favorites, during which me and half the crowd got on stage. It was a good time. gary and I headed back and stopped at vegas and met spanny and lindsey and then it was off to gary's house for the night. Today I had to go visit my grandfather for his b-day and then went to nicks hockey game. came home, and I slept for a long time! 7:44 pm	The week is finally over!!!!!!! Actually it went by pretty fast and was pretty sweet. My ipod came on tuesday which was sweet. Been busy putting my music on that. Josh and I went to vegas the other day, and that was pretty sweet. School hasnt been the greatest but I am keeping up. I had a detention today. probably the most fun detention I have ever had! We will see if tuesday can top that though(yep thats right, good ol' wilbur booked me 2 detentions for one UA) The show is tomorrow, pretty excited about that. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and we'll get a good turn out. Walls of Jericho Show saturday. Really looking forward to that. In some other not so good news, "Head" quit Korn. Them being one of the first bands I would consider myself a "fan" of and them still being one of my favorites(despite what they are now and what people say), I am very upset by this. They are coming out with a new album before 2006 so we will see where they go from here. On that musical note, Submersed is a damn good band for being one of those alt/metal main-stream radio bands. or at least their single is awesome! Looking forward to hearing the rest of their cd. On that same note, SHINEDOWN SUCKS!!!!!!!!! Sorry if that offends anyone but they are seriously terrible! So life has been pretty sweet as of late. All except ONE thing but I guess there will always be that ONE thing. Its funny how you can be so happy and so mad about the same thing at the same time P.S.-Josh Freese is the man!
